The framework for our collaboration. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before engaging our services. They form a binding legal agreement between the user and Chronos AI, ensuring a professional and secure research environment.
1. Scope of Services
Chronos AI provides specialized artificial intelligence solutions designed specifically for the rigorous demands of historical research. Our engagement models are structured to accommodate diverse institutional needs:
Consultation
Initial strategic assessment of digital archives and technological feasibility for AI integration.
Pilot Project
Targeted implementation of AI deciphering or modeling on a specific subset of data for proof-of-concept.
Full Engagement
Comprehensive end-to-end historical data analysis and narrative generation support.
Each specific deliverable, timeline, and fee structure will be formally defined in a separate Statement of Work (SOW) signed by both parties. This Terms of Service acts as the master agreement governing all such SOWs.
2. Intellectual Property and Licensing
This section outlines the rights and ownership regarding data and technology, critical for academic integrity and institutional compliance.
Client Data
You retain all right, title, and interest in and to the historical data, manuscripts, and proprietary research you provide to Chronos AI. We act as a processor for your institutional data assets.
Our Models
Chronos AI retains all right, title, and interest in and to our underlying AI models, proprietary algorithms, neural network architectures, and software developed in-house.
Project Outputs
Unless otherwise specified in a Statement of Work, you are granted a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use the specific data outputs, deciphered texts, and analytical reports generated for your project for research, publication, and exhibition purposes.
3. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Historical research requires human nuance. Our technology is designed to augment, not replace, the expertise of the scholar.
Probabilistic Insights: Our AI systems provide probabilistic insights based on pattern recognition. These should be treated as research tools to be verified by human experts. Chronos AI does not warrant that outputs will be 100% accurate or free from error.
In no event shall Chronos AI be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the services. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
